What is Compress Audio?
Compress Audio reduces an audio file's size by re-encoding it at a lower bitrate (AAC) — separate from the video Compress tool, which handles video bitrate/resolution, not standalone audio files.
It's for the moments a video isn't involved at all: a long voice memo, a raw podcast take, or a song file that's too heavy to send over a messaging app or attach to an email.
