Subject Tone

Color-grade just the subject in a photo — adjust how you look without touching the background.

What is Subject Tone?

Subject Tone is the mirror image of Background Tone — it adjusts hue, saturation, and brightness on only the subject, leaving the background exactly as it was.

It's aimed at fixing how a person looks in a single photo — skin tone, warmth, selective color correction — without applying a filter that changes the whole image.

How it works

FAQ

What's the difference between this and Background Tone?
Subject Tone grades only the person/subject; Background Tone grades only the background. Use whichever half of the photo needs the adjustment.
